Welcome Karen Falkenstern!

We are so excited to welcome Karen Falkenstern to the club! She brings strong creative, technological and people skills to The May Court Club.

Karen has lived in the Kitchener-Waterloo area all her life. She is married, has two sons and one daughter, and two beautiful grandaughters.

Karen worked in the natural gas industry for 39 years. She founded her union chapter, and served as steward and co-chair for 22 years. Through this position, Karen gained a great deal of experience working effectively with others.

Karen joined The May Court Club because of its focus on giving back to the community. She is aware that she has been fortunate in her life and feels it is important to help those in need. Karen also is an active volunteer with Make-A-Wish Canada and Canadian Dachshund Rescue.

In her spare time, Karen enjoys golfing and swimming. She is an avid fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Green Bay Packers. She is a busy crafter and enjoys creating cards and other DIY projects with her Cricut machine.

Karen didn’t waste any time getting involved. Currently, she is a co-convenor for our upcoming Christmas Dreams fundraiser, working diligently to increase sponsorship from local businesses and organizing details with her proficient computer skills.

We are so fortunate to have such a “people” person with so many creative and technical skills join our club. Welcome to May Court Karen!
