Why should I shop here?

  • Live your values of reduce, reuse, recycle and giving back.
  • We are the only consignment shop in Waterloo Region where 100% of the profits are donated back to the community by the May Court Club.
  • We have great quality items for women of all ages and stages, with new items consigned daily.
  • Save money – prices are reasonable with no tax.

What does the shop accept on consignment?

  • Women’s in-season clothing.
  • On hangers, unwrinkled, clean, in excellent condition, under 3 years old.

How do I consign?

  • Call 519-745-4412 to make an appointment.
  • Number of items change according to space in shop and time of year.
  • The first appointment will take about ½ hour and, after that, about 15 minutes per take-in (and make sure you leave yourself time to shop!).
  • Our friendly volunteers will aim to price items at about 1/3 of retail, and will determine what may sell in our shop.
  • Items remain in the shop for 6 weeks on consignment. After that, if not picked up, they will be considered a donation.
  • New consignors will be provided with more details at the first take-in, which are also detailed in the Consignment Agreement.
  • Convenient street parking in front of the shop or in the Argyle customer lot across the street.

Do you sell new items?

  • We sell new accessories including hats, gloves, purses, jewelry and scarves.

Can I donate?

  • Yes, clothing that meets our take-in criteria is gratefully accepted as a donation so that 100% of profits can be used to support local women and children. Anything that we cannot use will be donated to another charity.
  • We also accept donations of shoes, jewelry and purses of recent styling that are in excellent condition.
